On the male nude.
The nude is a favourite subject with artists. Yet if the public is accustomed to exhibitions devoted to the female nude, exhibitions on the male nude are rather rare. The Leopold Museum in Vienna rectifies this with an overview devoted to the male nude from the Enlightenment to the present today. Works from Egypt and ancient Greece, as well as objects from the Renaissance will be on show.
