In a retrospective of his work, covering his black and white photographs, drawings, fashion photographs and paintings, a major tribute is paid to the photographer and painter Saul Leiter. The 89 year old pioneer of colour photography still walks the streets of East Village, New York, on the lookout for new angles on city life, with its shop windows, passerby and the vortex of cars and billboards.
